About legislation

Do I have to ask for a building permit or license to assemble my mezzanine?

No, you don’t. Our products are completely removable and reusable, therefore, they are considered as PERSONAL PROPERTY.

The mezzanines with an industrial usage require neither a building license for their assembly nor meeting the maximum constructed surface limits of the pavillion. As they are removable and hence personal property, they are subject to the same legal regime as the machinery, the racks, the vehicles, etc.

Tecrostar legal considerations

Tecrostar Mezzanines are movable assets referred to in Article 335 of the spanish Civil Code: “all the items that can be transported from one place to another without detriment to the property to which they were attached are considered as movable assets”

Moreover, the article 334.3 of the same code excludes Tecrostar mezzanines from the immovable property concept defining the later ones as “everything attached to the property in a fixed manner, that can not be separated from it without breaking the matter or deteriorating the object…”

What is the minimum legal height to install a mezzanine?

There is no minimum legal height for the installation of our mezzanine as they are movable goods. It is the customer who has to decide the upper and lower height of the mezzanine.
